dirt

spent so many peaceful hours in my garden the past few days - with birdsong, sun, burgeoning plants, seeds, and dirt. Also some quality time with my compost pile: turning it over, adding to it, stomping it down; and marveling at how weeds, sticks, and worms become dirt.
