I woke up at 4 am and noticed flashes of white light behind the curtains. Not the police then. Went out on the deck with my camera to see if I could get a photo of the lightning. I've never taken a photo of lightning. It was flashing every few seconds off to the east and the birds were singing enthusiastically. I recorded a bunch of short videos and got some lightning.
